Something about fashion rentals and bonic

The concept of fashion rental supports greatly the idea of circular economy. Too many times we buy a piece of clothing for a party, use it once, and never take it out of the closet again.

Fashion rentals offer an option that is similar to visiting your friend’s closet. It takes away the need to buy new clothes for special occasions, and minimize your closet to the essential, everyday clothing.

The clothes Bonic rents are mostly made in Europe, some of them in Finland. The production processes are transparent and ethical, using sustainable materials.

What and how it was made

The vision was to get brave, colorful and fun lifestyle photos to be used in Bonic’s social media and blog.

On a hot, sunny summer day, me, couple of models and the owners of Bonic took our dresses and high heels to the central streets of Helsinki. Boulevard, Hietalahti market hall and the Alexander theatre had a lot to see, when we ran around, wearing our best, taking finger-licking sweet photos of ice cream stands and danced our hearts out. The sweetness of summer air and the loving group of powerful women working on this shoot made this shooting day one of the funnest I have had.
