Something about HEMP
Hemp is strong, gentle and breathable material that lasts for ages. The fabric lives with you through the highs and lows of life, getting softer and more gentle over time.
As what comes to hemps growing process, hemp does not exhaust the soil, but nurtures it; it adds rich organic matter to the topsoil, helping it retain moisture. Also, hemp plant has natural resistance to most insects and plant diseases, so there’s no need to use pesticides (that are usually required in great amounts when growing fiber crops).
What and how it was made
This set of photos was photographed in the grey, cold days of autumn. The shoots were organised in various locations, such as conservation areas, old forests, at my backyard.
Photos were used mostly to promote HEMPEAs’s new collection of bed linen, consisting of a green and soft pink colored sheets. These photos can be found at HEMPEA’s website and webstore as well as their social. media.
